The main focus of its business activities is the manufacture, modernization and maintenance of the Do228 aircraft as well as the maintenance of business jets and military helicopters. For this we need motivated and qualified personnel at our site at the airport in Oberpfaffenhofen.
 

Responsibilities

  • Calculation of statics, dynamics/vibration, strength for aircraft structures using analytical and FE methods for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters
  • Programming of calculation routines
  • Creation of load assumptions and load analyses for individual and overall structures
  • Preparation of pre-dimensioning, strength verifications, checking of construction documents and repair drawings with regard to statics/strength, preparation of repair instructions
  • Review of complaint reports, construction deviations, repair instructions, in-service documents and AOG activities with regard to statics/strength
  • Performing tasks for continued airworthiness for the specialist area of statics/strength
  • Production support
  • Active participation in the development of new projects and business areas as well as in the preparation of offers

Your profile

  • Dipl.-Ing. (Univ./FH) in aircraft construction or similar professional qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of structural analysis, statics and strength in aircraft construction
  • Good knowledge and experience in aviation-specific regulations (FAR, JAR, EASA)
  • Experience in the calculation of metals and composite materials (GFRP, CFRP)
  • Expandable knowledge in the area of load assumptions or willingness to familiarize yourself with these
  • Desired: CAE knowledge: NASTRAN, PATRAN as well as in SAP, Mathcad, Excel and Word
